Degree in Information Sciences by the UCM; Diploma of Advanced Studies by the UCM, PhD in Information Sciences, with outstanding "Cum Laude", by the UCM, Social Graduate Diploma from the University School of Social Graduates of the University of Oviedo. He is currently researcher at the UNESCO Chair for Research in Communication of the URJC and interim tenured professor, where she has served as Vice Dean of the Practicum since May 2006 until October 2008.

In 2006 it was Member of the Technical Commission for Social Policy in the Vice-Rector's Office for Social Policy, Environmental Quality and Healthy University of the URJC, representing the Faculty of Communication Sciences. Since November 2008 until October 2017 has played the Academic Direction in the Master's Degree in Journalism from URJC-EFE Agency. She has been a professor of the Audiovisual Creation Workshop I course and Audiovisual Laboratory Technician at the Francisco de Vitoria University.

As a journalist, has worked in different regional and national media, as well as, in the communication office of the UCM Summer Courses. He has also collaborated in the Training Department of the Professional Products Group of SONY Spain S.A. This participation is materialized in the practical execution of training campaigns in digitization projects for television channels in Spain., Mexico and Portugal.

Actually participates in the research project of the call for proposals 2017 of the MINECO National R + D + i Plan entitled The reputation of the media in Spain and Europe (2018-20). His research interests include: new technologies, reputation of media and journalists, communication and gender.
